Terms and Conditions
The ground rules for using this website, holding an account, and requesting coverage.
These Terms and Conditions govern access to maizehouse.com and the services offered through it. Visiting the website, creating an account, or submitting a request means these terms are accepted, and anyone who does not agree with them should not use the website. The Privacy Policy forms part of these terms.
MaizeHouse arranges home warranty plans that help cover the repair or replacement of household systems and appliances that fail through normal use. The website presents general plan information and collects requests for coverage details. Plan documents issued after enrollment control the actual scope of any coverage, and nothing on the website replaces those documents.
The website and its forms are intended for adults residing in the United States who are requesting information for a home they own or are authorized to act for. Submitting a request confirms that the person submitting it meets these conditions. Details submitted through any form must be truthful, current, and complete. Account holders are responsible for keeping their password private and for activity that happens under their account, and inaccurate or misleading submissions may lead to a request being declined or an account being closed.
Every plan carries written terms describing which items are covered, the conditions that apply, and the limits on repair and replacement. Covered items must have been in working order when the plan began and maintained in reasonable condition, and breakdowns must result from normal wear and use rather than accident, misuse, or events covered by insurance. Replacements match the function and capacity of the failed item within the limits written into the plan, and upgrades beyond the covered replacement remain the choice and the cost of the plan holder.
Each covered visit carries a flat service fee fixed in the plan documents before any breakdown occurs. Covered parts and labor are handled through the plan itself, and where the same fault returns on a repair already completed, the visit is not charged again.
Where consent is given on the signup form, MaizeHouse may send service related and, separately, marketing text messages. Message frequency may vary and standard message and data rates may apply. Replying STOP withdraws consent at any time and replying HELP brings assistance. Messaging consent is never a condition of purchasing anything.
The website must be used lawfully and honestly. That rules out submitting false information or requests on behalf of someone without their authority, interfering with the operation or security of the website, attempting to access accounts belonging to others, copying or scraping website content for commercial purposes without written permission, and introducing malicious code or using the website to transmit unlawful material.
The content of this website, including text, layout, graphics, and branding, belongs to MaizeHouse or its licensors. It may be viewed for personal use, but reproduction or distribution beyond that requires written permission.
The website is provided as it stands and as it is available. While care goes into keeping information current and accurate, no promise is made that the website will always be free of errors or interruptions, and general information on the website does not constitute professional, legal, or financial advice.
To the fullest extent the law allows, MaizeHouse is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the website. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greatest extent permitted. Nothing in these terms removes rights that consumer law grants and does not allow to be waived.
Disputes arising from these terms or from use of the website are resolved through binding individual arbitration rather than court proceedings, except where the law provides otherwise, and both sides waive participation in class actions. Before arbitration begins, a good faith attempt to resolve the matter directly is expected through the contact details at the end of these terms.
Access to the website or an account may be suspended or ended where these terms are breached or where the law requires it. Plan cancellation rights and procedures live in the plan documents themselves. These terms may also be revised as the service or the law changes, the effective date above moves with each revision, and continued use of the website afterward means the updated terms apply.
Questions about these terms can be raised by phone at +1 (702) 347-3319, through the contact page, or by mail at 6605 Grand Montecito Parkway, Suite 100 Las Vegas NV 89149.
